In the film below, Vice President of Diabetes Protein & Peptide Chemistry, Jesper Lau talks about the scientific journey that he takes every day in designing new protein peptides. Working with a team of protein chemists and engineers, Jesper is constantly trying to understand "how nature works in details", so that he can design protein peptides that meet the clinical needs of people living with diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes centre opened in Seattle

The Novo Nordisk Type 1 Diabetes R&D Center opened 13 June, 2012 in Seattle, Washington. The centre, led by Matthias von Herrath, will work closely with academic and biotech partners, as well as conduct in-house research to develop potential new treamtent solutions for patients.
