Novo Nordisk in Sorgenfri – Headquarters of Operations in Denmark
Operations headquarters is located 20 metres from Sorgenfri train station and just two minutes from the highway. The headquarters was rebuilt in 2001 to support an open-office style that includes spaces for quiet work.

Operations headquarters houses Product Supply Management and International Marketing. The departments employ about 325 people, including engineers, pharma-economists, pharmaceutical chemists, medics, business professionals and administrative staff.
Product Supply Management, which employs about 80 people, controls the logistics and shipping of all our products to the entire world. Employees from Product Supply Management work on a variety of tasks covering investment, finance, HR, communication, IT projects, capacity planning, environmental issues and licence production.
International Marketing, which employs about 170 people, controls product launches, pricing and pharmaco-economics, sales and market analysis, and event management. The department is very international, employing people from more than 20 different countries.
International Marketing and Novo Nordisk affiliates often “trade” employees for periods, increasing the international understanding and experience of all involved.
