The hiring process at Novo Nordisk
Vacancies at Novo Nordisk are advertised for differing lengths of time, depending on the job type. All vacancies list an application deadline.
If you send your application online from this website, you will receive a receipt directly online. We recommend that you make a printout of this receipt.
If you send your application by e-mail or by letter, the application will be registered, and you will receive a receipt by e-mail or letter.
Please note that we prefer applications to be sent online, via the link at the bottom of each job description.
Our PeopleSupport department collects all incoming applications and distributes them to the responsible line manager. The line manager then evaluates the applications and selects candidates to be interviewed.
The number of interviews depends on the job type and on how many candidates have the right profile for the job. Normally, a candidate has to attend 2-3 interviews before being hired.
Before filling most academic and management positions, we ask two or three of the best-qualified candidates to fill in a personality test. An employee from our Human Resources department performs the second interview and gives the candidate feedback on the test.
When the interviews are over, the candidates are evaluated and the best-qualified candidate receives a job offer. The manager responsible for the position will extend the offer to the selected candidate.
