A professionally strong environment
Novo Nordisk has the stated aim of attracting and retaining the very best employees. This is why it is important to us that you are one of the best within your chosen area of expertise. However, we also place great emphasis on your having the right personal qualities as a colleague and partner.
In return, we invest a great deal in helping you to acquire knowledge through supplementary training. Similarly, we give you plenty of opportunities to participate in academic debate.
For example, this may involve giving you as a specialist or researcher the chance to publish your findings – in the form of research results, for instance – that you have achieved on your own or in collaboration with others.
You will be part of a professionally strong environment, with more than 300 PhDs in research and development. As a researcher, you will also be working with recognised research institutions and interest organisations in many different countries. Moreover, our research and development departments enjoy close working relationships with universities and other higher education establishments both in Denmark and abroad.
Did you know that Novo Nordisk publishes an average of 350 articles per year in recognised scientific journals – and that each article is quoted an average of 15 times in other media? This is a much higher number of quotes than many of our closest competitors achieve.
