Novo Nordisk’s share capital is DKK 530,000,000, which is divided into an A share capital of nominally DKK 107,487,200 and a B share capital of nominally DKK 422,512,800. Novo Nordisk’s A shares are non-listed shares and held by Novo A/S (based in Gladsaxe, Denmark), a private limited Danish company which is 100% owned by the Novo Nordisk foundation (based in Gentofte, Denmark).
