Injection guideline for NovoTwist®

  • Insulin has to be injected into the fatty layer of the skin called the subcutanous layer.
  • NovoTwist® comes in two lengths, 8 mm and 5 mm. The length of the needle might influence what injection technique should be used to ensure correct deposition of insulin.
  • Always consult with a health care professional regarding which innjection technique to use.
