Storage and handling
Novo Nordisk's hypokit should be stored either 2-3 years (depending on country requirements) at 2oC to 8oC. Avoid freezing to prevent damage to the syringe. The hypokit can be stored at room temperature (up to 25oC) for 18 months provided that the expiry date is not exceeded.
Reconstituted glucagon should be used immediately after preparation. Do not store for later use.
The glucagon vial should be protected from light.
