Are you hypo prepared?
Your blood sugar can drop so low that severe hypoglycaemia symptoms, such as disorientation, unconsciousness, and seizures or convulsions, can occur. This is an emergency, which requires immediate treatment. Permanent damage to the brain or even death may result if treatment is delayed.
Hypokit: for an immediate response to severe hypoglycaemia
In the event of severe hypoglycaemia, you will need someone to give you an injection of glucagon. Every person with diabetes should have a hypokit. Make sure your family, friends, and co-workers know where to find the injection kit and how to use it. Teach them before an emergency arises!
