Novo Nordisk is one of the largest companies in Denmark. Around 40% of all our employees work in Denmark . We have a good reputation with healthcare professionals and the general public and we are regarded as an attractive workplace. 

Our corporate headquarters are located in Bagsvaerd, a north western suburb of Copenhagen. It has excellent train and bus links to the centre of Copenhagen and is close to Copenhagen airport – approximately 30 minutes by car.

Even though Denmark hosts the administrative headquarters and many of our manufacturing plants and R&D sites our corporate language across Novo Nordisk is English. Take a look at our map.

One example is the International Social Club that employees have started to help expatriated colleagues and their families settle in and establish social networks. The club currently has over 300 members with 50 nationalities.

Our global programme called NovoHealth ensures the provision of healthy food in the subsidised canteens and in many sites employees have access to fitness centre or gym equipment.
