Assurance statement
The Consolidated financial statement of the Annual Report has been presented in accordance with IFRS and the Annual Report as a whole in accordance with Danish Financial Statement Act and the additional Danish reporting requirements. In addition the Annual Report has been assured according to AA1000AS.

- These data form part of Novo Nordisk’s Annual Report 2004 and have been assured by PricewaterhouseCoopers as part of the assurance of the Annual Report 2004 with reference to the Auditors Report.
- PricewaterhouseCoopers has assessed this webpage with regard to GRI as part of the assessment of Novo Nordisk’s statement that it reports ‘in accordance’ with GRI by checking that the reporting (the Annual Report and the supplementary information available online) contains the required information and indicators and by reviewing Novo Nordisk’s own assessment of whether these are consistent with the eleven Reporting Principles of Part B in the GRI Guidelines with reference to the Assurance Report on Non-financial Reporting 2004.
