Novo Nordisk corporate
Novo Nordisk has won two Danish and one European award for its reporting in 2003:
- The award for ‘Best non-financial Report’ - given by FSR (The Danish Association of Chartered Accountants) and the Danish financial newspaper Børsen.
- The award for 'Best annual report among companies listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and state-owned companies' – given by FSR (The Danish Association of Chartered Accountants) and the Danish financial newspaper Børsen.
- The 2003 European Sustainability Reporting Award. The European Sustainability Awards are given by the national associations of state-chartered accountants in 15 countries. The award has existed since 1996, and this is the sixth time that Novo Nordisk has taken it home.
In addition, Novo Nordisk has won national awards around the globe.

- ‘Goldene Tablette’, award for the most innovative pharmaceutical company in the specialist group of diabetologists.
Novo Nordisk Pharma SA (Spain)
- Diario Médico award to the HBU Spanish team for the ABC course (Advance Bleeding Care).
Novo Nordisk Ltd. (UK and Ireland)
- The IIP (Investor In People) award
‘Investor in People’ is the national standard which sets a level of good practice for training and development of people to develop their potential, improve their skills and gain greater job satisfaction - and consequently for the company to achieve business goals. Novo Nordisk in the UK and Ireland has, since March 2000, been recognised as an Investor In People.

- The award for ‘excellent enterprise on environmental protection from 2003 to 2004’ which was awarded by Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area Administrative Commission on June, 2004.

- ‘Melhor empresa para se trabalhar’ - Acadêmicos de Administração de Empresas (Unimontes - Universidades Montes Claros). This award was given by the business school of the State University (Unimontes) for being best place to work in Montes Claros.

- Award by the Ministry of Extraordinary Situations for development and application of NovoSeven in Ukraine: this product was used to help the victims of terrorist act in Beslan (Russia).
