Executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO)
Kåre Schultz joined Novo Nordisk in 1989 as an economist in Health Care, Economy & Planning. In November 2000, he was appointed chief of staffs. In March 2002, he took over the position of COO. Mr Schultz is a member of the Board of LEGO A/S, Denmark.
Mr Schultz has an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, from 1987.
