Executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO)
Jesper Brandgaard joined Novo Nordisk in 1999 as corporate vice president of Corporate Finance and was appointed CFO in November 2000. He serves as chairman of the boards of Simcorp A/S, NNE Pharmaplan A/S and NNIT A/S, all in Denmark.
Mr Brandgaard has an MSc in Economics and Auditing from 1990 as well as an MBA from 1995, both from the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
Mr Brandgaard is a Danish national, born on 12 October 1963.
