Jesper Westley, Photographer
Young Voices: Life with Diabetes
Jesper Westley is a corporate and editorial photographer who divides his time between his native Denmark and the United States. In addition to Novo Nordisk, he shoots for international corporations around the world and is represented by Getty Images. His work is also in the permanent collection of the Danish National Portrait Gallery.
He is the recipient of several international awards, including the US Newspaper Designers Award First Place, the Rx Award in pharmaceutical advertising and Best of Country in Adobes international picture contest. Since 2000, he has worked in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk to develop their branding imagery, which includes a vast library of portraits of people with diabetes around the world. He has also worked closely with the World Diabetes Foundation to create a collection of images which document and raise awareness of the epidemic of diabetes in the developing world.
